Estate Planning That Prepares Families to Flourish

A six-month certification for estate planning attorneys who want their plans to strengthen families, not just transfer assets. It begins with your own family.

The Shift

Documents are becoming a commodity. Counsel is not.

Online platforms and AI can produce documents in minutes. They can't hear hesitation, notice an offhand comment, or ask the next question a family needs asked.

Most contested trust disputes come from administration, not from defects in the document. The cause is unprepared fiduciaries, siblings locked into uneasy authority over one another, and beneficiaries meeting the plan for the first time after the funeral.

The attorneys who thrive in the next decade will do what technology can't.

Your Practice Has an Operating System. This Is the App That Runs Inside It.

Business coaching platforms help you market, sell, and run your firm. Angel Advocates adds what they don't teach: how to use the estate plan to deepen family relationships.

You Go First

You can't guide a family down a path you haven't walked. In this program you'll complete your own estate planning through the Legacy Alignment Pathway, moving through its three phases: Foundations, Legacy, and Harmony. Each week, you'll experience a step as the client and then learn the skill behind it as the guide.

Throughout the program: weekly live coaching, on-demand lessons, and three one-on-one meetings with Klea.

What We Teach vs. What Families Usually Get

A traditional estate plan communicates a person's wishes when they pass. We plan for how the family will flourish afterward.

What You'll Be Able to Do

Listen for what a standard intake never reaches.

Mediate and facilitate family meetings.

Turn short-sightedness into long-term thinking, using "yes, and" instead of "no, but."

Guide families through the Four Portals: death, legacy, incapacity, and money.

Vet fiduciaries instead of just recording names.

Design trusts that build capability rather than dependence, including Family Togetherness, Rising Generation, and Family Philanthropy funds.

Give fiduciaries guidance, not just authority, and give beneficiaries context, not just a gift.

Offer a therapeutic process without practicing therapy.

Certification Weekend

Train. Certify. Celebrate.

Most contested trust disputes come from administration, not from defects in the document. The cause is unprepared fiduciaries, siblings locked into uneasy authority over one another, and beneficiaries meeting the plan for the first time after the funeral.

Meet Klea

Klea Harris is the founder of Angel Advocates Legal and co-author, with Martin M. Shenkman, of The Legacy Alignment Pathway: Using Estate Planning to Align Family, Legacy, and Documents.

Estate planning is love made practical, and Klea built Angel Advocates to honor that truth. She starts with your values, not your paperwork, and explains every decision in clear, simple language. Through guided conversations and family meetings, she helps your loved ones understand your wishes now, so nothing is left to chance or argued over later.

With Angel Advocates, you feel supported, not rushed… prepared, not overwhelmed. This is estate planning that protects your people and preserves family harmony.Outside of her work, Klea enjoys watercolor painting, meditation, and traveling to national parks with her family.

Is This for You?

This program is for attorneys who believe estate planning is about people, who are willing to do their own family work first, and who want long-term relationships with the families they serve.

We only work with attorneys and clients who share this philosophy.

A 15 minute call with Julie to discuss whether this program is the best fit for your current stage of practice.

Every applicant begins with a conversation

Your first meeting with Klea isn’t a sales call. It’s a mutual interview, because we want every attorney who starts this path to succeed.
